In this work, we study the pseudomonotonicity of multivalued operators from the point of view of polarity, in an analogous way as the well-known monotone polar due to Martínez-Legaz and Svaiter, and the quasimonotone polar recently introduced by Bueno and Cotrina. We show that this new polar, adapted for pseudomonotonicity, possesses analogous properties to the monotone and quasimonotone polar, among which are a characterization of pseudomonotonicity, maximality and pre-maximality. Furthermore, we characterize the notion of D-maximal pseudomonotonicity introduced by Hadjisavvas. We conclude this work studying the connections between pseudomonotonicity, variational inequality problems and upper sign-continuity.  相似文献

The authors discuss the existence and uniqueness up to isometries of Enof immersions φ : Ω  R~n→ E~n with prescribed metric tensor field(g ij) : Ω→ S~n, and discuss the continuity of the mapping(gij) →φ defined in this fashion with respect to various topologies. In particular, the case where the function spaces have little regularity is considered. Summary A hemivariational inequality model for adhesive grasping problems is proposed and studied in this paper. The unilateral frictionless and frictional contact effects between the fingertips and the grasping object that lead to linear complementarity problems with singular matrices for the study of static equilibrium of the gripper-object system are generalized here to cover adhesive multifingered grippers. Adhesive effects are modelled by appropriately defined, generally nonconvex, yield sets in the space of contact stresses, friction stresses, gaps or frictional slips and their combinations. The hemivariational inequality problem that arises may involve copositive plus, symmetric matrices and nonempty closed sets for the frictionless gripper problem and copositive plus, nonsymmetric matrices with starshaped sets for the frictional case. Solvability conditions that guarantee the existence of a solution to the gripper problem are given. They specify the conditions which are required to hold between external forces, fingertip mechanical behavior and finger placement in order to solve the gripper problem.  相似文献

In this paper,the robust output feedback cruise control for high-speed train movement with uncertain parameters is investigated.The dynamic of a high-speed train is modeled by a cascade of cars connected by flexible couplers,which is subject to rolling mechanical resistance,aerodynamic drag and wind gust.Based on Lyapunov’s stability theory,the sufficient condition for the existence of the robust output feedback cruise control law is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs),under which the high-speed train tracks the desired speed,the relative spring displacement between the two neighboring cars is stable at the equilibrium state,and meanwhile a small prescribed H∞ disturbance attenuation level is guaranteed.One numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献
